About OJ Properties At OJ Properties, we believe everyone is entitled to a decent, safe place to live. We are dedicated to making housing affordable for everyone – because we believe a secure home is the foundation of a better life.

Our Story

OJ Properties LLC was founded in 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri, with a straightforward goal – to make affordable housing a reality for families, veterans, and individuals with limited income.

The idea grew from a personal experience. After facing challenges in finding affordable housing in 2012, our founder turned that struggle into motivation. With persistence, improved credit, and a bank loan, the first duplexes in St. Ann, MO, were purchased and rented at discounted rates based on household income.

Today, OJ Properties continues that mission, expanding to larger projects like a 12-unit apartment building in St. Louis, designed to serve Section 8 residents and veterans. Our story is one of resilience, compassion, and community growth.

Meet our Team

At the heart of OJ Properties, LLC is founder and owner Joseph Omokheyeke, whose personal experience with housing challenges inspired a mission to make affordable living accessible to all. After overcoming his own struggles in 2012, Joseph earned his MBA and established OJ Properties in 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri. His early investments in duplexes in St. Ann were designed with discounted rents based on household income—an innovative model that prioritized fairness and community welfare. With nine years of real estate experience, Joseph continues to lead with purpose, developing projects that serve low-income families, Section 8 participants, Medicaid recipients, and veterans..

Supporting Joseph is a dedicated team of professionals who share his vision for equitable housing. The management staff of the organization ensures that every property is run with care, efficiency, and transparency by bringing expertise in financial control, property upkeep, and tenant relations. OJ Properties is a reliable partner in the affordable housing market thanks to its cooperation with government housing programs like Medicaid, Section 8, and Veterans Affairs.  Together, they’re building more than homes—they’re building stability, opportunity, and community for those who need it most..
